Love?

I feel like when you get the love relationship that you always see in movies it turns out to be exactly what you wanted and craved, until it crumbles to the floor like Jenga.

But, how do we really tell if we are IN love with someone? Because, I don't know if it's just me, but sometimes I date these idiots only to realize that when it's over I didn't even "love" them? Ya catch me?

1. You've forgotten all about the life-wrecker that broke your heart before. You can't even recall what was so great about them that ever persuaded you to date them in the first place.

2. They cannot leave your mind, no matter what you do to occupy your time they are constantly sneaking their way back into your mind. He/She is the first thing you think of when you wake up, they're the last person you think about before you fall asleep, and you occasionally even dream about them. You begin to notice things that they would like, things that they would enjoy. You're out and about running errands and you see their favorite football team's sticker and you think about them, something you normally wouldn't even think twice about.

3. You actually care. You care as if they are a family member, but in a non-creepy incest way. If she had a bad day, you instantly have a bad day. You want to turn it into a good day for THEM. You want to know more about them, and what they likes/dislike, what makes them laugh and what makes them mad. You want to know because you actually are concerned.

4. You adore their flaws as if they were perfections. The quirky things they do make you smile like you're insane. How they are so OCD about things, or how they always smile even when things aren't funny, or when there's nothing to smile about. How they have to bury their toes in the sand at the beach, or the way they look when they wake up. You can't put your finger on it, but there's something about them that just makes you like them, for them.

5. And finally, every other priority you have tends to jump to the backseat. All you care about is them and how to make them happy. Things that were important are getting a little stagnant, and you can't help but to just put them first. You start thinking about the future, and they're in it. Every plan you make involves them. You don't think as if you're going to be together 4 months from now and if they are going to be available to be your date to your best friend's wedding, because they're in those plans. You've already included them.

If that's not "love" then I honestly don't know what is. But if you find it, don't let it go. Don't beat around the edges, or get mad over stupid things. It all adds up in the end. And you do NOT want your "end" to be a pile of Jenga blocks.

Shout out to Falcon Stewart for being an amazing friend.

I'm back!

Oh hey, there. It's been quite awhile since I've wrote something, and I still have no honest clue as what to write. So I'm just gonna update you on how Ashley's doing. First time doing this, so cut me some slack if it sucks.

Well, I've been doing pretty great surprisingly. Two thumbs up!
After a pretty suckish past few months of jumping back into the reality of the single life, I'd say things are going pretty swell. And by swell I mean the life-span of my phone has now increased by 50% due to lack of use. (;

Anyway, besides all that hip hop and jazz, conditioning for soccer has totally kicked my butt these last couple weeks because I'm one lazy heifer. BUT, on the brighter side of the sun the first ACTUAL day of tryouts start tomorrow. Yip-ee! I've missed soccer tremendously.

As you all know, the new semester started and I'm OFFICIALLY a Psychology student! It's about time to put my brains to use. And I'm extremely excited about my genius abilities and my 4.8 GPA at the moment, yeah, Einstein status. Let's see how long that lasts for, haha.

Half of you are probably wondering why my blog isn't about some idiotic douchebag, well, that's because boys suck and I have officially decided that I'm going to be a nun/part-time psychologist. Or a Buddhist, because I think if you rub their bellies it's like good luck or something, and I plan to be 500 pounds due to the amount of comfort food I eat. Plus, that's just cool.

Is it sad to say that I just googled 'How to be a Catholic nun?' -- When I become a nun I hope my convent doesn't ever see this, I might be denied my nun status.

Oh well, I'll go about my dreams to be the next Taylor Swift.. might need to learn how to sing, though. I sound like a dying cat.. or fish.. or something.
Speaking of fish, I'm contemplating on whether or not to get a turtle. Not that turtles and fish have anything in common, but, yeah.

So you know how on the smart water bottles they have like a little fish, or frog, or duck or something on them? Well, today I got my first otter! I named him Otis. Otis The Otter. Too cute, right?

Well, this was awkward. I'm not expecting many views on this. Toodles!

Oh yeah, PS.
If there's anything you want me to write about, let me know. Otherwise you'll be reading more crap like this. Adios!
